Temple Street was built during the Qing Dynasty and it's named because a temple to Tin Hau. The place is sometimes known as Men's Street. Contrast that with the Ladies' Market in Tung Choi Street of Mong Kok. Temple Street is located in the Jordan and Yau Ma Tei area of Kowloon in Hong Kong. It is well known for the Night Market which is a perfect place to pick up a few bargains as well as to have a large meal. Both locals and tourist like to come here in the evening to buy some cheap merchandise and food items.

It's easy to visit the Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei, just go from the Nathan Road MTR exit and you will find its just on the left in a short distance. The best time to go here is after 7:00 in the evening because you can have an interesting experience about the busy night market at its peak hour of the day. There's a mini-concerts in Temple Street every night, you will find bands of traditional Cantonese opera singers singing songs in their own corner in the street. By the way, here is the treasure island for collectors; you will get very old CD collections, nice audio instruments and gorgeous antiques with reasonable price in this area in Hong Kong.
