Maopitou (Cat's Nose Tip)

Maobitou is situated on the southernmost tip of Taiwan, about 3.5 km away from White Sand Bay, and named after the shape of cat-like rocks. Maobitou is the divide of Taiwan and Bashi strait, and the slumping cliffs and sun-set view are one of the eight great views in Hengchun peninsula, low-latitude makes the tropical style of Maobitou. The coast of coral reef is with worth visiting landforms, which strongly affected by wave erosion, efflorescence, and salt-soaking. The natural landscape like wave erosion caves, ditches and pillars are amazing, sea view here is attractive and enjoyable.

Directions :

From the Siokan Highway Exchange, exit to State Lane 17, passing Linyuan, Tonkan, Linpian to Sui-d-liao.
Then, connect to State Lane #1 south. At Fungkan, turn to State Lane #26 and then #153 district lane to reach Maopitou.
