Wulai Hot Spring is located in Wulai Township, Taipei County, and its name comes from Atayal language which means “steaming water”. It is said the hot spring was found by the Atayal hunters. Occupied the southern part of Taipei County, this area is famous for aboriginal culture and hot springs. The water of Wulai Hot Springs, known as “beauty spring”, is clear, odorless and up to 80 degrees centigrade, it benefits the skin by rich elements of alkaline sodium bicarbonate. A public pool is right on the bank of Nanshi River, you may have experience of open-air bathing.

Wulai is also well-known for waterfall view, cherry blossom, bird watching etc., with beautiful natural landscape, it is a popular destination for fishing, swimming and camping. Visitors may have a stroll on Wulai Old Street to enjoy local vegetables and aboriginal style food in Atayal feature restaurants. Other sightseeing spots in Wulai are Atayal Museum, Wulai Tourist Train, Neidong Forest Recreation Area, and Yunxian Park.

    By Bus:
    1. Take MRT to Xindian Station, then take the Sindian Bus to Wulai.
    2. Take MRT to NTU Hospital Station (Exit 3), then take the Sindian Bus from Taipei to Wulai.
