Passing by the Presidential Building (also known as Office of the President), you can take a look at one of the most important buildings in Taiwan. With its governmental significance, the Presidential Building has a grand design. Next stop is the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall that was built in the memory of the first president of Taiwan, Chiang Kai-Shek. Apart from its memorial significance, it also features the National Theater and National Concert Hall which often held grand performances. Then we head to the Martyr’s Shrine. The Martyr’s Shrine is a memorial for the noble soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. The next stop is the National Palace Museum where more than 700,000 traditional Chinese art crafts, weapons, tools, and historical documents, are on display. Having the world’s largest and rarest collection of traditional Chinese antiques, the National Palace Museum truly reflects the rich cultural heritage of Chinese civilization and ancient Chinese culture.
